Screen goes completely blank, no sound but the blue lights are going around as if it's playing. Then the tv message that comes up when the sky box is off comes up. I can't pause, rewind etc and the only thing I can do is unplug the box. Any ideas?

Try a planner rebuild:

Press Services on your remote

Select Help

Select Sky+ Rebuild

This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something.

I've tried that. Luckily it's only happened on a handful of programs that are repeated at later date
