Hello all,
I seem to have real bad banding, I have tried resetting the TV over night a few times but it still persists.
Mostly noticeable in murkey dark scenes and movies.
I don't notice it much on normal viewing bright scenes.
I noticed it not long after I received glass, hoping it will fade over time but after a few months of strong use as stuck in the house it isn't subsiding.

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.
When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

Thank you,
I appreciate the quick response. As you can imagine it spoils the movie experience and gaming side of the TV , otherwise I'm happy with the product.

Yeah, I was thinking that now, but it was Christmas and then the whole family had COVID in the new year,
Hopefully this can be sorted under warranty

Got similar on mine but running down the screen.
I don't blame Sky for this though. I blame myself for being so dumb as to buy it in the first place.
Will all the trouble with damn pucks hardly ever turning on I'm two steps away from neading therapy.
Even my 11 year old son said he wanted his Google TV back. Way less trouble he said
Amen.

@Golex a few of us on here have swapped out for a new one due to banding, my replacement was loads better, no longer see it all.
whilst you wait couple of things you can try to reduce the affect. it'll still be there but you shouldn't notice it as much
turn down video brightness in the picture custom settings, to about 45, this reduces the white haze that seems to increase the banding affect. increase the contrast and saturatation as well. ( or to your own liking )
Also i see youre on xbox, try with both dolby vision settings turned off, just use the HDR. since the software update and then roll back ive found DV to be a little flakey, and whitens the screen too much

when i say both DV settings, i mean turn them off within the xbox

Thanks for the tip, I do notice it more on Dolby vision content,
Hopefully I can get this sorted with support soon.

@Golex give it a go, tbh i almost cancelled my replacement when i turned the Dolby vision off as it reduced being able to see the banding so much during gaming on the xbox.
....id still get a replacement though... this isn't a fix just reduces the amount you see it.

At least this explains why I see it more on HDR content from Disney and Xbox a lot more, as i don't tend to notice it on broadcasts so much
