Does anyone know of a way to change the default 5ghz wifi channel from 80mhz ch 36 to either ch 38, 40, 42 or 44 at 80mhz as opposed to the reduced bandwith of 40mhz ch 36 or 40mhz ch 44?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@QM You can only change it to 40mhz Channel 36 or 40mhz channel 44 from 80mhz Channel 36, no other channels are currently available on the Sky Router. You need to logi n to your router click on the wifi tab then select the 5ghz wifi settings.

Thanks, I know that, hence asking the question if there is any way around it!

This is really annoying! I'm surrounded by 10 routers on similar channels, and it is all interfering with my own signal and driving me nuts!
Why can't Sky allow the user to select their own channels!?
This is only going to get worse as the population explodes, squeezing people even closer together.
Sky, your routers suck!

Also, do we really need these childish badges? They don't help anything!
