Hi
Looking for some advice on broadband...
We currently have Sky Q and Broadband Essentials. We are soon moving to another property which does not have a landline - they do have a dish.
My question is... are we therefore able to get broadband via the dish or do we need to get a phone line installed? In which case, is this something Sky can do for me?
Many thanks

You don't have to do anything apart from order broadband . Whether its superfast 80Mbps, ultrafast 150Mbps or 500Mbps your phoneline will be via the router connected an ont

And its a 1 stage install so a 9-14 day lead time to install.
If you could copy and paste the details below the table to see what sort of install you'll have and any foreseen obstacles

ooohh ok. all i knew was they said on the form "no phoneline" - so that's why i thought i'd need to investigate.
thanks both for your advice.
so all looks to be good...? is there any way for me to confirm this (other than speaking with the homeowners directly)

Contact sky giving them 2 weeks notice but its likely you could move in and have it remotely activated without any work

Great - thanks to you both.
Finally, just to check, if i then wanted to move away from Sky... this would be possible also without a phoneline?
