How can I speak to a live person about my bill

I need to speak to someone about my outstanding bill, but everytime I call, and it doesnt matter what number I call, it says pay your bill then we will talk to you.  Its so frustrating, as I need help and assistance in paying my bill.  Does anyone have a number you can contact a person on please

@sharonstevens You need to pay first. Sky won't talk to you otherwise I'm afraid. 

Before your services are reinstated Sky normally require full payment of the outstanding balance and also the setting up of a new continuous payment method. If you’re 2 or more weeks in arrears you will also have to pay the next bill, as this will have been generated by now. If you are able to pay all but £25 of the outstanding amount Sky will usually reinstate your services and they’ll add the £25 to the following months bill.
If in the future you struggle to pay your bills (as with any company) it’s always better to contact them before your bill is due.

Thanks, I spoke to someone 2 weeks ago, and they said I could pay half then call back and they would reinstate my service and workout a plan.  Now I can't speak to anyone

@sharonstevens You could try calling from a phone not connected to your account or by dialling 141 before the number. That may work.

  • I would pay what I owe when I can and then ask the adviser to get the call you made when the agreement to pay half listened to.
  • This is the second time today I have read about agreements of this kind not being fulfilled.
  • Perhaps a Community Manager may have knowledge of this @Chloe-W22

@sharonstevens follow @Daniel0210 advice. All calls are recorded so they should be able to listen to what was said. The process of overdue payments is automated so i dont believe advisors can override this.

Hi there, unfortunately we don't have payment plans or promise to pay options. 

 

You can make agreements that you will pay half and half however as mentioned by @brianholt the payment process is automated and we cannot stop the system from taking full payment or from restricting your services. 

 

You CAN pay a lower amount than the full bill by allowing £25 to roll to the next bill as @Daniel0210 said but this is dependant on payment history as well.
