Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone was able to claim the sky switch Credit

I have been trying to claim sky switch Credit now for weeks I've sent my final bill from virgin to the switch credit team and just keep getting an automated email response. Can anyone please help me.

I would guess it would take a month to 6 weeks for your claim to be processed, so if it's less than that since you filed your final bill and evidence of payment y9u might need to wait a bit longer.

Hi Ive been trying to get an itemised bill from virgin with no luck at all they say they will send but still waiting requested it 3 times thank for your reply

Sky won't pay your switch credit claim without evidence of your final bill.

Hi I see so I'm in a catch 22 situation then how stupid it's as if it's a conspiracy thing then wished I'd never switched what a Croc. Thanks for getting back to me

@Serenity12 I switched from Virgin back in 2018. Have you paid the final Virgin bill yet? I remember as I left I had to wait for the Final bill, which showed the Early disconnection charges, etc. Virgin used to allow you to download bills to PDF. I forwarded my final bill, bank statement showing I'd paid it to Sky Switch Team. For me I'd take longer for Virgin to sort the final bill out, about a month after I left if memory serves.

No, no 'conspiracy'. Obviously Sky won't pay a claim without evidence of what they're reimbursing you for.. If they were to do that, people could claim back whatever amount they wanted.

Well if I can't get a itemised bill from virgin and Sky won't accept an final bill it's a big scam

I am not able to get an itemised bill from virgin just a final bill from them which doesn't show itemised breakdown of charges and Sky won't accept this final bill as proof so a big scam

No it's not. The switch credit requirements are laid out perfectly plainly. The fact that you're unable to comply with the terms and conditions doesn't make it a 'scam'.

Are you sure you can't get an itemised  bill from your Virgin Account? I always could.

Hi Thank you your message I've on to them 3 times and just now had a letter from them with an itemised bill yay..... I've sent an email up loaded an attached pdf files of the breakdown and a bank statement showing the payment from from my account so fingers crossed they accept them.... Phew what a performance but hey ho staying positive😊

Hi everyone,  drum roll please..... after a trillion emails sent to Sky Credit Switch and being totally technically challenged. I finally got the credit on my sky account. 

 

I sent a itemised final bill which showed a full breakdown of the virgin early termination charges (had to ask for this twice from virgin... through a chat help system linked to my final account this became available a few days after I'd paid my final bill, it looks like its only open for short time. In my case...it look liked it took one person from virgin to raised the request (an itemised bill) and it took another person from virgin to activate the letter and send it. I had to contact them twice. I then recieved 2 letters from virgin with no break down/itemised. I had to chase the itemised letter again.

 

Once it did arrive I then had to wait a bit longer until a full bank statement was available for me to download. I then had to do take a picture of virgin bill, save it as pdf and then download it or was upload it to my drive, send Sky Switch Credit Team a email with the both attachments Yay done. 

 

 

 

If your trying to claim Sky Switch Credit. Keep positive and keep trying.
