Both main and mini boxes on Q160. No issues (so far) observed or heard.

I had lipsync issues while watching the Last Leg last night solved by changing the channel over and back. I've noticed a few audio glitches on live content main & mini, I know that wasn't addressed in Q160 but it does still seem to be the boxes handling of the content rather than the broadcast as I've not noticed it when watching on freesat etc.
Also the series link issue that records multiple versions of the same episode seems to be back recording the main screening, early hours screening and catchup/auto downlod version of the same episode noted channels seem to be Sky Atlantic, Sky History 2 amongst others.
Last time I had the series link problem I believe a power cycle of the main box fixed the issue so i'm going to try that, just mentioned it incase anyone else have noticed it.

When's Q160 out then?

It already is out. You just need to wait for your box to be updated. Sky send the update out in batches so you have to wait your turn.

Isn't the question by what date will the last ones be rolled out and if you haven't got it by then what should you do, log a call with Sky ?

I'd expect the rollout to complete in the next week or so and it to be on the DR stream by then.
So if a box hasn't updated by that point, you'll be able to force an update through the menu option - same as with any other release.

Another good example of poor customer communications. So, the latest software version is being pushed to customers, but at the moment customers can't force the update as per Sky's own published instructions. All they really need to do is to put a short description of their software update cycle on this page. How do customers (who aren't using this forum) meant to know what the "DR" stream is and when it is active ?

Pretty much, there are 2 batches still to go and the plan is to do one this week and the last remaining one next week.

@Kei+M this is great news, as I've been plagued with this issue like most for some time now, here's fingers crossed I'm getting it this week sooner rather than later 😂 roll on Q160

Noticed a few sound drops on our main box during the football at the weekend on BBC and ITV live broadcasts.
Appreciate Q160 initially only adressess recorded content but hadn't noticed any sound drops during live broadcasts on our mini.
I had turned on hdmi control again so will try with that off to see if it helps.
So now that we know Q160 seems to have fixed recordings, do we know when a fix will be available for live broadcast sound drops ?

A few people on different platforms have had issues with sound on the football, I think thats more down to the broadcaster than Sky tbh.

I don't think I it's a broadcaster or even a broad cast issue as it would be more consistent. I've noticed more than before on BBC, ITV, CH4, UKTV and SKY channels. It's seems to be similar but not as drastic as the dropout. I notice it and lipsync issues mainly when a HD program comes out of an AD break or when for some reason the content changes definition. So likely a lost handshake again sometimes not correcting until you leave the channel and comeback to it.
It seems to be more common on Q160 than. Previously. But it's more watchable than the previous dropouts IMHO

Since paying for the upgrade to the V3 box I've had to update it manually each time, it doesn't seem to be getting pushed an update even when it's on the DR channel
