I was a little worried that a forced update I performed the other day may have ruined my chances of getting the update today probably wiping it from the box if it was hiding in the background.
But a quick check on main and mini box confirms I'm on Q160.000.29.00L (5bucbis)
Now to hammer the box with some intensive viewing so I get get back to giving grief about this issue because it's been so long I might not know how not too! 😂👍
PS thanks to the member who seeming was able to put me on the first push list 👏

I had Q160 as part of the trial and I now watch recordings without being on tentahooks waiting for the next dropout. Not one in 2 weeks. It's now like ancient history :). Hope it works for everyone else.

Overall very happy with the update I've been trialling! I think it's finally time after 6 months to talk compensation.

Wonder how long this hits the DR stream?

It's not wrong to hope that, but it's completely unrealistic. With millions of boxes to update, they're hardly going to type in the user names of all those people who might feel 'upset' by sound drop outs to ensure they get Q160 first, when it's only a matter of a few weeks until everyone gets it.
If sound drops truly are upsetting for people then I pray their lives are never touched by matters of any real importance...
@Rhonny I get @Pogit sentiment. And it doesn't seem that unreasonable given that somewhere back in this thread or in the one that was archived there were statements made that those in this thread were the very small minority of affected customers and that there were millions of satisfied customers out there. So, surely those satisfied customers don't need the fix first 😉

@PogitDid your update come with the trials info when you press the button with the three dots on it, the one thats gives sky news and the weather etc, I'm wondering was it part of the trial and if so I wonder will it be removed, or if its still part of the general Q160 rollout.
