Quick update to say after filling out the form Openreach are investigating. Fingers crossed they can resolve it!

@cookiemonsteruk  Looks like it's been updated and sky checker now lets me choose gigafast if I want...  I was defo I rely surprised they sorted so quickly.

Ah I understand now. So it looks like a property that hasn't used Openreach for a while. Hopefully this administrative issue can be sorted out so the address shows up on Sky's database system and online checker, though it's something that the wholesaler and ISP might pass the customer trying to sign up between both of them. What was the saying... "The bureaucratic mentality is the only constant in the universe." (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home).

Sorry to hijack the thread, but you did better than me.

I knew my line would handle a faster speed as I had closer to 50 with BT but got stuck on 40 download when I joined Sky.

Recently had Openreach out to replace a faulty cable in the road outside when speeds dropped below minimum guarantee and according to their tests I will now get closer to 60 download.

Now leaving to go back to BT because I have exhausted all avenues for trying to get Sky to supply an 80/20 service instead of the 40/10 they put me on.

Interestingly turned router off a couple of times today, first got 55 meg, second time came up with above table

Maybe stererohaven you could ring sky and ask them to send another engineer and then get the engineer to ring sky and ask for speed upgrade
