Full Fibre upgrade unavailable

Hi, I live in a semi detached house and using the broadband checker for my house Fibre is unavavailable. If i use the door number of my next door neighbours attached house it is. The Main pole is litrally infront of my driveway. I have contacted sky and they say there is nothing they can do as its not shopwing on their system. Litrally every single house in the street its available other than mine. I also asked an openreach engineer who was parked across my drive and he said there is loads of spare capacity and hes installing it for 2 other neighbours why he was htere. Anyone have any ideas how i can resolve this?

The wbc fttp indicates that full fibre is available. But normally the notes at the bottom give more info about the property and any potential issues.

It is possible that if the fibre has just been laid that sky haven't updated their own database . They have been slow to roll out fibre in areas that openreach have installed it.

Have a word with neighbours to find out what isps they are using and contact sky again in another 3 or so weeks .

Its been like it since i moved in thats why i initially went with Virgin as i thought it wasnt available. My next ddor neighbour is with virgin, like i said if i put his house number in its available.

The Openreach guy said the Fibre has been in for over a year!!

I highlky dobt there is but do you know if there is a deparmenrt at sjy i can speak to?

Any help is appreciated as its sooooo frustrating

Could be that being formally VM that there is no existing landline/fibre info. Defo use the form.👌🤞

From the image it does appear that FTTP should indeed be available at your address. Indeed you should be able to order packages with the full 900-1000Mbps speeds! Does the online checker for Sky, or other Openreach providers come up with it showing availability? 

It seems that the address appears to have slipped through a crack whenever the databse systems at the various ISPs are being updated.

I think the issue is that there has been no openreach line for a while. The comparison of the two checkers show availability and install process for immediate neighbour and should be no different for @Benny+p . Hopefully openreach will sort it out 🤞

I've just signed up with talk talk, as sky keep telling me they are unable to provide fttp at my address even though bt wholesale checker says it's available and I could sign up with sky as a new customer.

Is interesting as well sometimes sky underestimate the speed that you can get. I was on the 40 meg package and I was sure I could get more out of it but sky kept saying my line couldn't go faster. When a kind engineer came to fix a fault he checked and he said that the max attainable 53 meg, we rang sky and he spoke and he got them to upgrade speed and sky changed us over to the faster package
