@Anonymous You will get to know "Ex Oracles" now superusers+ are generally rude and self righteous.
It's the reason I left the forum the first time at level 8.

Yes I've been put down a few times, being critical doesn't help.
I've worked in this industry over 30 years worked closely with Freeview with the introduction of Freeview play to TV's but heh ho I know nothing because I'm not in the "lounge"
Been there done it too thick skinned to care. Sarcasm never wins the day.
What they don't get is we are completely in the dark with Sky as they don't release notes with firmware updates like most companies so how else are we to find out but ask!

Bringing things back on topic, just back from the supermarket and my puck in the living room (connected to an LG tv) has updated and (touch wood) it seems to have done the trick for UHD picture breakup.
Restarting the cricket on Main Event you a replay of get the Ben Duckett DRS referal for LBW. When the Hawkeye graphics were overlayed the picture remained fine, however on my bedroom puck which is still on the old firm (connected to a TCL tv) it still breaks up. So things are looking good.

These articles clash also on the point of find my remote.
Each having a difference as to its inclusion in the update..🤔

From what I've read in a few online posts it is just vivid which again is a mistake.
I hate the vivid option makes people look orange and over processed images.
Let's see maybe it will be OK!

Seconded.
I'd it just vivid or not?

1 down and 2 to go - sadly the one that got updated first is the one i use the least....may have to move them around as this one also got V12 first with the other's being updated around 5 days later.
it will be interesting to see if it also follows this pattern this time....but i really want them to be updated already as I made a pact with the family that we will give it until after Christmas to see if things have improved, only so many times I can take the whole "Dad the Sky puck isn't working"
