Re: Epgservices sky never miss

I have been following this ever increasing thread since I posted about a month ago.  What is clear to me is that Sky don't care about it and are not bringing it back.  Furthermore I note Myphotos on the Q box is no longer supported and the new Sky Q box upgrade is a mess.  What is going on at Sky?

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Well I have looked at the Geektown website and have been told by the protects my computer, that it could cause my computer problems and they would not allow me access.....which is a shame.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Geektown is a completely safe site @Carrrie , I have used it for years. All you are doing is inputting your email address to get reminders when your favourite tv show comes back, just like you did on the old sky never miss site.  https://www.geektown.co.uk/nevermiss/

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Wow, just checked on Trustpilot and out of a total of 5,493 reviews, Sky is rated at 1.5 stars out of 5. Plus it is worth noting that it isn't possible to leave a zero rated review and many subscribers are complaining that they can't do this so the 1.5 rating is clearly artificially high. I knew they were bad...but not this bad!

Never Miss Web Page

When was this page removed, I don't remember getting any email informing me that it was goig to be removed.

I had a bout 40+ saved entries, is there anyway to recover them?

@this+is+not+my+na Sky haven't given a real reason. It was removed without warning with no way of retrieving our data it would seem.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Yes I agree since they were bought out by universal (comcast) they run it like the old Unverisal channel was poorly.

So why won't they let us remind ourselfs when a program/film or series is coming on

Thinking of getting rid of sky and buy the box sets on dvd so I can watch them and know I have them. Why did'nt they let us know, perhapse this the american way, they think they own the world.

Re: Never Miss Web Page

@this+is+not+my+na

It was removed in early May (3 months ago). The reason Sky has given is 'a business division's. No idea what that actually means other than they reckon it costs more tHan they were prepared to pay for a service that can direct people to watch stuff for free rather than to Sky -only channels, esp films.

Re: Never Miss Web Page

Many of the emails I get are for films which I don't have the channels for.  I was thinking of adding the Sky movies package, but seeing as I haven't been receiving said emails, I no longer am aware of what I am missing, so I won't.

If that is the reason it has achieved the reverse from me.  Many have commented that this service would have cost them peanuts, personally, I don't know if that is true.
