Only found out today that NM has been removed & like many others on here, I think this is a bad idea. However, over on the Sky Q Ideas board, a few months ago I did suggest that Sky incorporate Never Miss into the Sky Q box & that we receive notifications on our screen rather than emails. Is it possible that Sky is looking to do this instead? Even if they are, they could have waited until it was implemented before taking the old version away.

That's not going to help the majority of us that have Sky+ 👎🏻🙁

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

@Annie+UK have Sky given any indication whatsoever why they have removed it? i mean is it a staffing thing?surely it's all automated, set up by their IT software.

I just can't fathom why they would have stopped it, it's probably the most useful website for TV purposes.

And it's also a shame the fact we can't even have a certain amount of time to get in there to see what was on our list 😞

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Sorry about that @Annie+UK  but they don't have a Sky+ ideas board, so can't help you there.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Sky didn't even suspend my sky sports which i thought it would be automatic, so they were still charging me £80 a month, so I guess Customer Service means nothing to them now.

@bob1234  Not sure what you mean by yours being merged with mine? I literally only wrote one sentence on the ideas board ( which has 62 Likes so far, a bit so-so, no idea how many Likes are needed for an idea to be implemented ). Thanks for the vote though ( @whiteonline  I've added my vote to yours, too. )

They have given a vague reason on the closed Oracles forum and beta testers forum, but this is nothing any of us can repeat in the general forums

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

It's crazy that Sky have removed this. The "New Series" section in Sky Q they claim has replaced it is a complete joke - there is not a single thing on there I'm interested in watching.

This was a great service - Sky's one remaining differentiator now that there is nothing good on Sky Atlantic.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Thanks @Anonymous  and ditto, doesn't matter which they do as long as they bring it back in one form or another.

And in answer to your question of how many votes are needed, Amazon Prime has over 2000 votes and still hasn't been implimented, whereas the Disney App and UHD without multiroom subscription both have less than 50 votes. So who knows, guess it really depends on what SKy want to do.

Would be nice if they just say, "we appreciate that customers want Amazon Prime and we are working on it with Amazon" at least we would then know, rather than just being in the dark.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

@baobabcat but it's strange to think they want you to use Sky Qs new series functon, i mean in no way is this very helpful or even the same thing.

What if you want to know when series 1 of an older program starts playing. for example.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

@whiteonline Yes exactly ... it's a completely different thing.  I've just tweeted the Sky account and they just say "there was no announcement, it was a business decision".

I guess the business doesn't really want our business.  I've  been trying to justify Sky now that I'm paying for streaming services with better content, so this may well help my decision!.

That what I was using it for. We lost quite a few episodes of shows when the box filled up and started to overwrite stuff. Was a few days, maybe a week, before we realized. So we had it set to tell us when the last series of a few shows were reshowing. Now I'll just have to keep doing a weekly search for them.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Another dissatisfied Sky customer here.

Why oh why just axe such a useful service and without telling the paying customer first?  I found this thread because I was trying to find out why I didn’t get my usual email telling me that the next series of one of my shows was starting again, needless to say I've missed the first 8 episodes and they’re not repeated or available through Sky’s Catch Up on demand service. So now I’ve got to try and find this online somewhere, which will probably be illegal but Sky have brought this on themselves.  IDIOTS.

I’ve been using Sky’s Never Miss service for decades and I had all kinds of series and movies (past and present) entered into this and was satisfied that if and when one of them was aired on TV, I was notified a week in advance so I could set it to record. So not only will this no longer happen, I have also lost the list of everything I had entered to be reminded about. FANTASTIC.

Does anyone know the best way to complain to sky about this, maybe if we all complain then they will bring it back? I’ve seen it done before with other things, for example when Ted Kravitz was cut from the Sky F1 presentation team, social media lit up with complaints and slowly but surely, he was brought back to Sky F1.
