Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Yes, this feels like a backward step. Nevermiss was so elegant in the way it worked. I was going there this morning to add State of Happiness to my wish list and I'm met with a screen that doesn't even admit never miss is no longer available, just that there is an "even better way".

Well I just tried it "simply select Home and then TV Guide, and scroll up to New Series to find the shows recommended for you" and there is a whole load of shows there I have no interest in, and there is no way for me to add State of Happiness to my wish list, so how is this better?

I don't mind recommendations, I can always ignore them, but I want the functionality to choose a specific show and either be alerted when it is coming back or (if the feature in on Sky Q itself, as opposed to the website) just have it added to my planner.

Not sure why Sky have discontinued this feature and replaced it with something worse.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Watched entebbe on Netflix last night all included with my monthly and much cheaper subscription might pay for Scream  2 of Amazon tonight all depends if my other Horror Fan in the house wants to see it.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

So this is how never missed worked and it was brilliant. You fancy watching a film that a friend has recommended to you or you have read about. So you pop it into the never miss site and sometime later you get a nice email from sky "Hey that movie you wanted is on this week, would you like to record it and we will add it to your planner automatically."

Well thanks Sky you think thats a really useful service and great app for use to use, I can add this to my planner from anywhere where i have a 4g signal or wifi for that matter, your the best.

Well now your on your own because this service has been scrapped.

and there you have it.

I have a template message to send to the CEO whenever I would have put something on never miss.

He won't see it but I will feel better and until they filter out anything that mentions never miss will help clog their in box if enough do it.

As never miss has been rashly removed please remind me when ?????? is next showing.

Sky have seen fit to remove Never MIss........very sadly!

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

What a stupid idea to scrap this.  The advice Sky gives as a solution - basically scan the "new series" tab is ludicrous - why is everything <removed>

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Once again Sky screws its customers.  Never Miss deleted, Sky cinema only showing rubbish films unless you pay for them through Sky Store.  Tv , broadband and telephone costs spiralling upward.

Reckon it is time to give Virgin or another competitor a try as hopefully they may be better.

Sky just takes and takes but never gives anything in return.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss

Just popped on to add a show to Sky Never Miss and noticed it didn't work. Then I found this thread. I can't believe they have got rid of this service! I've already missed an episode of a show I watch which started last week because I didn't get an email. Now i Know why! Surely by now there should be a never miss app!
