Easiest way to set up replacement hub
I've just upgraded my Sky package which included the latest hub (SR 203UK ?) to replace my existing Shy Q hub (ER115 ? - not too sure about model numbers!). My existing set up has a 2TB Sky box, 2 Sky boosters, and 2 mini boxes (we have 50cm thick sandstone walls). I have numerous mobile phones, laptops, tablets and PCs which are WiFi connected to the hub. A number of friends and family also use the WiFi connection when they visit (we have no phone signal in the area).
Is the easiest way to install the new hub without having to re-connect all of the devices and boosters simply to disconnect the old one, install the new router then change the WiFi name and password on the new box to what it was on the old one? I'm fairly sure that would work for phones etc. but not sure about the Sky boosters - I seem to recall the engineer having a few problems when they were first installed. Do these need a different set up to connect to the new hub? TIA.

Hi @wutty Changing the wifi and password on your new router to the ones used on the previous router should work ok with all your current devices without changing to new log in details!
It worked for me!
