Since yesterday we have been unable to download new episode content, whether SD or HD, and getting an error message saying we need to update subscription. Which we don't. There is plenty of space on the SkyQ box and I can't seem to find an online fix.
any ideas?

21 pages of people with same issue. It's a sky issue and I'm guessing server related.

My sky q box is showing a message of download failed when I was trying to download next episode of series I have been watching for a few weeks now any suggestions how to fix this

I tried downloading FBI s1e5 in UHD and it works. It's SD and HD that fails.
In fact all UHD programmes I've tried have downloaded OK.

Phoned sky this morning,as have same problem with failed downloads, mainly on sky channels/catch up etc.
After trying to sell me a sky internet package, he has arranged for an engineer to visit tomorrow afternoon.

@Shut-ins Don't raise your hopes. This appears clearly to be a system issue at the Sky end. Others who have reported engineer visits today have referred to having their box changed but still having the download problem. Do advise what happens in your case though.

All of a sudden since last night certain content in box sets fail to download.
