@Anonymous  if you chose the First reset option, Reset Settings, you won't lose anything.

I can't download anything again

 

What's going on now? I bet we hear from sky that they don't of any issues

All, try a reset of settings:

 

Press Home

Scroll down to Settings but don't press enter

Type 001 then Enter (the centre button of the direction arrows)

Scroll down to Reset and Scroll across to Reset settings (don't goto reset hard drive or factory reset)

Press enter

Box will reset and go through start up procedure.

Just spotted I had a software update available on my Sky Q box downloaded and installed that thinking it may help but...it doesn't!

 

Still can't download on demand from any channel, not just Sky. 

I have EE broadband wired by Ethernet to Sky box. 

Obviously this is a bigger, wider issue if so many people are experiencing it today. Sky need to sort it instead of expecting us to go into hidden menus to do resets.

Many others are having the same issue. Try a reset of settings.

Same here, trying to download next in a series which hasn't been broadcast and only available on demand, so definitely not getting what I'm paying for.

@olliewebbuk  seems to be an issue affecting many tonight. Try a reset of settings :

 

Try a Reset Settings in the hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.

Scroll down to Reset
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you may have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.

This old problem again, had it many months ago changed DNS settings after reading solutions on here, solved the issue and changed the settings back to automatic a few months ago, been fine until today.
