I've never understood people needing radio on TV

Some people like everything in the same place. On Apple TV you can access radio and music so there's no reason why they shouldn't provide this on Glass. Not including AirPlay is a mistake too.

I like listening to music in the bath but I'll not move my TV in there temporarily because I like things all in one place 🙂 Just because you can  have most things in one place that's not always the best or right way to do it 🙂

It's not always the best or right way to do it but you should at least have the option.

Re: Channel List on Glass - full list

One of Sky Glass' selling points is the sound quality. Seems like they missed a trick with no Airplay support. Could have been an all in one entertainment system.

Re: Channel List on Glass - full list

Pretty sure this will come. There is audio support for Airplay on Q.

Re: Channel List on Glass - full list

Sky Q has always provided digital radio, or is that not a TV service?

When we want to listen to music on Sky Q, we can just say "play *radio station*" and it'll play our request through the TV into our surround system. It works well.

Just because you don't use something there's no need to dismiss it's usefulness to other people.

Luckily Glass has BBC Sounds,Global Player and the Radioplayer apps, so there are plenty of ways to listen to the radio.

Sky+ and Sky Q are platforms for radio station output carried via satellite signal, just like the television channels but without visual content: it's not the same as DAB.  As @rscott observes, on Glass, apps are intended for radio 'reception' (actually picking up an internet stream, of course): presumably radio 'channels' don't meet the extra requirements for Glass integration.

Re: Channel List on Glass - full list

Presumably mentioned elsewhere but there's far too many new & updated threads to check 😞 but the list is back up.

I can see that Sky Sports Mix has moved from Sports to Entertainment, but no other changes jump out at me. Has anyone else noticed anything different?
