I don't think that's a change. Just a restatement of what you've already agreed to. Check your contract details.

I think some of us have already commented on the benefits. As for paying one off costs all you are doing is allowing Sky to take payment after they notify you in advance which gives you time to query it

Not so. It's included in my 2016 contract.

Care to share because its seems incredibly dumb for them to repeat it more than once in their contract update email.
