Can not get sky glass 😩

I have just moved into my new home and I'm trying to purchase sky glass but it's saying I have an outstanding bill I'm so confused. Could this be linked to the address from the previous people? Any advice would be much appreciated

@Lucy2808  Did you have Sky at your previous address?    If so presumably you paid this off and let Sky know you were moving?

 

If not then it could be Sky still have an outstanding balance listed at your new address p

from the previous residents.  I would give Sky a call.

 

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi no I didn't have sky at previous address this is the confusing part I will give them a call

@Lucy2808 . Hope you sort out the billing issue. However, have you done your research into Sky Glass before you purchase.? Please go into it with eyes open.   The principle is good but there are many bugs and frustrations with the platform. Would suggest you read a lot of the posts on this forum before you decide. @Lucy2808  Are you still in contact with the previous owners/tenants?

 

because if they had a sky account and did not either transfer it to a new address or completely cancel it paying off any outstanding balance you will be unable to purchase Sky at your new address under your name until they have done one of the above 

 

so I would try contacting them to check the situation or seek advice from somewhere like citizens advice
