My broadband went down about 3 hours ago now. I am in West Yorkshire. As usual with big companies Sky seem to have clammed up, so we are getting no information as to what is happening and how long it will last. It's interesting that companies do this, because it has the effect of inflaming customer annoyance and anger, and does the company reputation no good whatsoever. 

My router's internet connection light has come one every time I have restarted the router, so I did some further investigation into the router's settings. I have found that I have one device that is working and receiving data from the internet. It is my Amazon Firestick which has an IP6 connection as well as an IP4 one. It seems that IP6 is working but not IP4, which of course means most of our devices receive nothing. I wonder if Sky have spotted this little anomoly?

You would think Sky Tech would be more proactive and transparent by issuing an official statement as soon as they're aware of an issue. This would stop all the uncertainty and confusion surrounding the issue.

Broadband is being connected slowly but surely , hope your back on quickly , lots of areas back on still many areas off but looking like Sky are putting it right fast as possible .

I'm in East sussex and it's the 9th time my entire sky TV aswell as broadband and landline have gone down its back at the moment but seams its every night from 10pm till 1ish
