Had a few problems with the Glass TV.
Problem 1.
Crashing totally and everything just locks up. Remote won't work, voice commands do nothing. The only way is to reset the TV is by removing the power for x amount of time, which is the standard for resetting electrical equipment, BUT, with the TV wall mounted, the plug switch is behind the TV, and I'm not lifting a 65" TV off and back on the wall everytime it crashes. So I have to trip the sockets fuse on the house fusebox to turn the power off.
The power button on the TV bottom right side does nothing.
Problem 2 I'm having is you tell the TV to turn off and it only turns the screen off, the sound stays on, then nothing else works, the screen stays off with the sound on until I repeat problem 1 and trip the fuse box.
Smarter than a smart TV, I think not.
Any ideas anyone, or is it just a case of poor technolgy.
Thanks in advance

I've read a few posts now of TV off but sound still active, this may well need escalating to Sky as it could be an issue in the market !?
As much as I do not rate the Glass TV I personally have not come across technical faults, poor quality, yes and poor software. However my TV is now in the spare bedroom so has little use.
There are remote control issues which are covered in detail on these forums.
I'd suggest calling Sky and going through your issues with them, in the main they are extremely helpful.
I'd say return it and get a decent smart OLED if you can with maybe a puck if you like Stream or better still Q. Removing a 65" from the wall is not ideal but maybe needs must.
Switching on and off tends to be a daily task even with the Puck, I've plugged my puck into a hive socket so I can turn on and off via my mobile. A bit late for you now but food for thought for the future.
Anyway speak to Sky don't leave it.
