Broadband update from sky?

I know its frustrating but its not been just sky, many internet providers have been down or had issues all across the uk, its something that has happened to sky not caused by them

Just back up in the CA area.

Still no idea what the issue was.......Sky just being Sky I suppose

Edit.. changed dns on all devices to 8.8.8.8 and I'm connected again now.

Internet slowed > 4.3 mbps dl and less than 0.8 mbps ul in ol16 area. This has been ongoing for several days. Kids struggling to play games, daughter furious about wifi not connecting. Wifi I can relate too, Its only way I can listen to MY music without everyone in house complaining.

Maybe they just turned it off and on again......!!!

Although it seems that 1.3m customers across all ISP's were affected. 

So by deduction (and experience in the field) maybe it was a server farm that either lost power due to the storms OR like Sky do, maybe someone just cut them off for no reason
