Bill

Hi my sky in cut off can't pay until next week how long does it take for internet to be cut off as wall as home schooling as bin out break at there school thanks

@123Dog456  If you can't pay you should call Sky and discuss with them before your service is restricted otherwise you will have great dificulty speaking to them until the balance is paid.

 

I would expect that the broadband will disconnect any day if they have already disconnected your TV service.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

After your TV has been cut off, it takes 30 days to cut off your internet

@123Dog456  after tv service is restricted your internet access will cut a few days later this is to allow you to make a manual payment.

 

I've not known Sky to wait for 30 days before cutting internet access for non payment, so don't be surprised if it's cut within a few days of your tv service being restricted

I believe it's much shorter than that.

 

Personally, I wouldn't test it and call Sky.

@PandJ2020  I concur it's normally within a few days of tv service going off purely to allow for manual payment 

 

so @123Dog456 as already advise you will need to contact Sky ASAP

@TechmanagerMal  I've seen posts from sky employees confirming it's definitely a lot shorter than what has been mentioned and I've not seen or heard nothing to suggest anything has changed

It's definitely not 30 days. 

 

Usually once your TV has been restricted you get a few days before the Internet is cut off. 

It's roughly 3-7 days. It is an automated process so could be any time during that week.

On the sky website it says 30 days but the sky experts r saying 3-7 days Internet is cut off. Why put 30 days on Web and u say something else on here u need to say properly what it is 30 or 3-7 days.

@Simond123456  Can you post a screenshot of where it says this as it can be raised with sky if necessary

I just checked it says u have 50 days to pay ur bill. Once ur cut off.

It's for the sky bill but I pay everything together so why different things for Internet and sky bill just check on difficult pay ur bill.
