Just tried to post a screen shot of an email from sky stating they give 30 days after restricting your tv services before they will restrict your broadband and phone. But it won't post, damn it

It does post. As per the instructions when adding an image it has to be moderated before it becomes visible so we can check it doesn't contain personal information etc.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@TechmanagerMal Yes very generous indeed, but I guess Sky are trying to keep the broadband side of things active for longer to allow people to continue working from home for example.
Broadband could be viewed as more essential than TV though.

- As we often point out here, Sky Broadband is not a commercial product though?
You're right, it's not. But the T & C allow for typical domestic use which nowadays probably includes working from home.
However, Sky would without doubt view use of its domestic broadband service to run a business to be a very different matter.
Edited to add: in reality Sky probably don't really care what their broadband service is legally used for, providing usage isn't excessive. The ban on business use just establishes that they're not in any way liable if it's used outside the T & C.

- Interesting, I wonder if "the new normal" includes an employer contributing to the bill and if that would change Skys' point of view?
Hm. I don't know.
(Just FYI I've added to my previous post).
