@Mark39 wrote:@Mr+fresh Sky are continuing to send the update over the course of the weekend., so your Sky box should receive it automatically providing you leave it switched on at the plug overnight.
Alternatively you can manually update it yourself at any time, as described here: https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/updating-sky-box/updating-software-sky-plus-hd
Mark, I really wouldn't bother anymore. It's obvious now that a 'new' poster jumping on has no intention of even reading the last page for a solution - they are beyond help... They really just want to get off their chest that they pay Sky, '£X/month', how dreadful they are, and how terrible life is with a wonky clock.

Thanks Stephen. Manual update worked for me. Poor show from Sky, amongst many others!

Thank you to Mark 39 for your helpful answer, it was very much. Appreciated, as for Stephen sky, don't be so rude about people you know nothing about.

I'll be as rude as I like. I'm sorry, but stupid people just irritate me, and there have been plenty of them posting here... Glad you got sorted.

Time still not updated on my box. Does it need to be connected to the internet for the update or does it come via the satellite signal? The box hasn't been connected to the internet for years.

Mark, I admire your perseverance buddy, keep up the good work! Wonder how long this thread would be if it was about something really important, with no solutions offered every other page! LOL😂

That is hilarious! Just skimmed over that thread, same conspiracy theories in that Sky did it on purpose to get folk to upgrade, same solitions offered, but ignored by new posters. Appears there are equal numbers of stupid people on both threads 😂

If you miss the download window dates as previously shown will my box still update if I leave it on overnight. I have tried the manual update procedure but my box does not accept this procedure with the lights not showing on as described in the instruction. It is an old SKY PLUS HD box.
