Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

My sky+ box still not updated, yet they've managed to update the one in bedroom which is a really old sky box just used with freesat. 🤷‍♂️ So bloody annoying

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

The incorrect time on the guide may be a minor issue for Sky - hence the lack of communication - but it is very irritating. Am I to assume it is still be investigated?

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

All four boxes haven't updated. Strange that this isn't an easy fix for Sky, but thankfully it doesn't affect recordings.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

I actually haven't written on here since Page 9..so here goes...

The clock on the info page is still an hour ahead even tho no one seems to know why...BUT...all the programmes I recorded yesterday and last night ALL recorded perfectly. The info clock and the planner clock are off by an hour but the recordings still work fine. All the daily programmes are working fine.

People..some of you need to get a grip....the clock is wrong BUT that is all that is wrong..Sky tv works fine..Sky planner works fine..the Sky recordings work fine...as long as that continues who cares..really...and yes...this is not happening to the whole Sky community..only some customers. I guess it depends on the type of service you have and which type of box.

Worst case scenario..the clock will be correct at the end of March next year when we go back to BST.....just take a breath everyone.

Trouble is all the shows on the sky planner are an hour out to actually view. You have to view everything an hour early. As you said recording not a problem.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

I can't have sky q due to the area i live and poor Internet, but ihave been a sky customer for over 26 years. I might be cancelling due to such poor service.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

Why cancel ?  It's a glitch..nothing more. Just take an hour off if you are watching something 'live'

My only issues would be why is it taking so long to fix and why no updates from sky. The box still works and I get all my shows. It's a minir inconvenience...nothing more tbh.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

We found it very frustrating trying to work out the program times last night because you tried to watch something only to find it had already started & you couldn't move to the beginning of the program ☹️.

Must be a ploy by Sky for customers to get Sky Q or Sky Glass😡

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

My tv guide never changed with the clocks.

I have unplugged and reset several times but still does not show correct time.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

Come on Sky give an update on what you are doing about this and when it is likely to be fixed. Although for some it is not a problem for the clock to be showing the wrong time for others it obviously is. Whatever you think about the clock issue, the way Sky are dealing/not dealing with it is really poor customer service especially considering the prices they charge.

Sky gave an update yesterday, including when it would be fixed by.

It was posted on their status page and on this thread.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

It's well over 24 hours since the clocks went back. It's really pathetic that Sky have been unable to correct this error. An apology would be nice. I'm not holding my breath.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!

Now 08.15 on the 1st November and the time is still 1 hour ahead. I have turned off both boxes downstairs and up, waited several minutes, taken out card, reinserted, turned on and no change.

My other pet hate is the fact you cannot transfer programs saved onto a new sky box if it goes kaput.
