Reset time on Sky menu
My Sky TV menu still shows the old time and has not adjusted with the change from BST. TV is showing wrong time and Sky menu is still shown in BST. Everything usually adjusts automatically with time change. What can I do to correct this?

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
Update from Sky....hope this helps everyone!
SKY+UPDATE - INCORRECT TIME SHOWING IN SKY GUIDE
We are aware that some customers with Sky+ boxes are seeing British Summer Time shown in the Sky Guide this morning following the overnight seasonal clock change.
We are investigating how to correct this. We have verified that the impact appears limited to the wrong time being shown in the clock. Watching live TV, recordings, and downloading and playing On Demand appear to be working correctly
This doesn't affect customers with Sky Q and Sky Glass

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
Why are you trying to correct something that has never been a problem on these boxes before? We will not let this lie till we get an understandable explanation.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
I'm just a subscriber like you, I found the above info online and thought I'd share with everyone as a lot of people seem to be getting stressed out! I shouldn't worry, recordings etc all seem to work, will just have to wait for Sky to update. I guess this will happen at the same time as normal updates which is always after midnight every day. As long as you record from the Sky EPG then Sky will do the rest. You are recording the programme so the time doesn't come into the equation. Have a good day, and just remember 'it's not the end of the world'!

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
I have the same issue on my Sky + HD Box.
Clock Display is 1 hour in Front.
You would have thought in 2021 issues such as this wouldn't happen.
I hope they will sort it this out promptly!!
To place a positive attitude on the situation, 🙂 if all Sky+HD Customers wait till march 2022 when the clocks go forward atleast to BST our clocks will be displaying correctly. 😉
I can confirm through experience when recording today. This known issue seems to be cosmetic only and is just the displayed clock with the fault.
You have to imagine when your programming guide says for example 2:20pm, that it is actually 1:20pm.
I would advise any Sky + HD Customer to try a manual record once to be given insight.
When entering a record start time at a specified time such as 2:20pm, the fault displayed clock will then automatically change the start time to 3:20pm.
Yet, the Sky + HD Box will still still record at 2:20pm.
Hope everyone how reads this will follow and understand my meaning.
Until then, we will have to wait till hopeful competent staff at Sy Headquarters resolve the issue.
Be Well.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
Missing the point there. It's not an historical problem. Why has it become a problem now? I believe it's a pretty shoddy attempt to get people to change to Q. It's ever been a problem before with these boxes till last night. Very poor.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
For goodness sake! Why have you still not sorted the time out. Why has this happened anyway- its never been a problem before. I need to set up recordings. You've had 12 hours to sort it and no explanation. Not good enough🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Whichever makes the most money. Most not ready to change their actual TV sets yet.

Re: BST TIME CHANGE PLEASE READ!!!
Same as a lot of people. My box has not updated the time since I first started checking at 6am this morning (which 6am doesn't really matter, given sky obviously can't tell the time anyway 🤣)
Anyway, I agree with a lot of other posts that find it confounding as to why Sky+ affected but not SkyQ, plus why it is now a problem in the first place after years of no issue.
It is hard not to be cynical about the reason for this but hopefully it isn't Sky' sales and marketing. Even so, I would personally be amazed if Sky ever provide the honest, true and detailed explanation for the cause of the problem.
