I have left sky as they were unable to get me a broadband signal. Everything has been sent back. They promised me that all the payments I have sent to them would be paid back on Dec 23rd 2023. It is now Dec 28th and nothing has been paid back. I have tried to contact them via, chat and phoning but it is not possible unless I am buying a new contract with them. How do I contact them to get the money they owe me?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt couldn't be paid back on 23rd December as that was a weekend, immediately followed by two Bank Holidays so any refunds would be delayed anyway.

Does your Sky bill show a credit on it ?
The 23rd was a Saturday so that along with the 24th which was also part of the weekend wouldn't see the payment returned and neither would you see it in the 25th or 26th as these were Bank Holiday all of which were days that the banks do not process financial transactions such as this.

@hw101
Have you kept your proof of posting?
Unipart are the company that deal with returns. Apparently returns are taking 2+ weeks to be processed at their warehouse. Let us know in this thread about the proof of posting and we can maybe get you some help from the Messaging Team.
If you have the proof it should be a fairly straightforward process. If you haven’t retained it, any cancellation of non return fees would be at Skys discretion.
Please don’t try to post an image of the Royal Mail tracking or postal receipt as Sky don’t allow them on the forum.
edit- I've just spotted you posted similar back in December. What steps have you taken since advice was given then?
