Hi,
My email address/SkyID has been linked to my dad's account. I.e. its my dad's account but I'm also a name under it.
I'm trying to set up sky broadband for my new house using my own ID. However, because I'm linked to his account I can't sign up to Sky broadband. I've tried to click the links related to unlinking the account but it doesn't work. My dad has tried unlinking me (as he is the primary user), that hasn't worked.
I tried to phone Sky but because my mobile number isn't linked to my dad's account it doesn't let me proceed so I have no one to speak to.
Can someone please assist with how I can set up my own Sky broadband account?

I'm not entirely sure. When he wants to log into his account he uses his own email address. When I log into my account it says he's the primary account holder but i can see my own separate name and ID

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt could be you have what is known as a secondry ID, so your Dad is the Primary account holder and you have one linked to this.
So if your Dad logs into this link does he see the option to remove your user (ID):

If he does and you have the same issue you might need to sign up using a different username/ID.
