Subscription Upgrade Online Only
Elderly mother looking to contact Sky to discuss adding Sky Talk to her Sky TV subscription. She prefers to talk her options through with someone which she is entitled to do so under Treating Customers Fairly legislation so she fully understands. However Sky don't publish contact numbers for account upgrades anymore. You are forced to go through online help which takes you into a continuous loop to sign into your account online and upgrade yourself. So Sky, can you tell us how this approach is inclusive for the elder generation who may wish the assurance of speaking to someone?????

@Amcl23178 the number is available on the website but it's easy to not find
Click on the need more help drop down at the very bottom of the link below to reveal an 0333 number if your in uk (full numbers aren’t permitted on the forum)
If in ROI using the same link change the flag in bottom right hand corner and refresh the link before following above instructions to reveal an 0818 number

or if you have sky mobile/talk call 150 Calls to Sky Customer Services from your Sky Talk landline phone or a Sky mobile are free
The start will be automated which may try to send you here to the forum or suggest you receiving a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. If necessary say nothing when the automated system asks you what your call is about as it should then route your call into a queue for the next available agent.

I presume you and your Mum realise that Sky Talk landline is bundled with Sky Broadband. She can't have Talk on its own.
