Receiving Credit Refund from Abroad

I received a message from "sky@notifications.contact.sky" asking me to contact a number (08081 014 437) from a UK landline to arrange repayment of a credit balance on your account. I have moved abroad and no longer have a UK number to call from. I do still have a UK bank account. Is there another way to arrange the repayment to my account?

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

If you wish, we can escalate your post to Skys Community Messaging Team. They can either reinstate your payment method to refund you in 3-5 working days or arrange a back office team to raise and send out a cheque to your new address which obviously takes longer and not sure if they'll do that for overseas. 

Let us know on this thread if you wish to do this confirming it's still showing as a credit on your Sky account.

If you can find Sky  normal customer service number which is 03. number you can call that from abroad by +44 I front of it.  Using that number they should still be able to help you.
