My post has been escalated

Occasionally when a Superuser is unable to help fix your issues, they may escalate your post to a Sky expert. You will recieve an email with a link and a message to chat to a Sky expert directly on the Community.

 

You can access the conversation via the coloured chat bubble on the bottom left of your screen.

Responses from Sky experts aren't immediate, this means you can go about your day, just check back often. The chat bubble will be present for 48 hours.

 

To access your account, the Sky expert will ask for the same information as we would ask over the phone to access your account. Be assured this message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.     

 

Messages from Sky Verified accounts will have  Sky Employee ChloeW22_0-1750935645469.png or Community team Nimbob_0-1757341571404.png next to the senders name.

If you receive a message that seems suspicious or inappropriate, don't respond, Tap the options menu (3 vertical dots) and select “Report as inappropriate” for review.

In a community direct message, Sky will never ask you to:
- Send a text message to a mobile number.
- Send a message to a WhatsApp account.
- Email any address that doesn't end with @sky.uk
