Hi everyone,
I don't know if anyone has had this experience however I need advice on how to proceed.
I have a skytv +broadband which i paid through a bills company. The sky card and account was registered in the name of the bills company's CEO. Now I have cancelled my contract with the bill's company and I would like to resubscribe or reconnect to sky. It seems I would no longer use any information on the previous sky account since it was not in my name and I need a new contract with sky.
How do I go about this?
Gigi

The old Sky account in the name of the bill's company will need to be cancelled. Only the accountholder can do that.
Then you'll need to re-subscribe in your own name. To your advantage, you'll be a new customer and should get new customer prices. The disadvantage is that you'll almost need to return your current Sky TV and broadband equipment (unless you have a legacy Sky+ box or you purchased a Sky Puck before they became rental only). There may also be a period when you're without a broadband service.

Re: Previously on sky but seems like I need a new contract
You will need to sign up to Sky as a new customer with it being in your name, you can do this via the Sky website or by calling them.

Re: Previously on sky but seems like I need a new contract
Thank you Mark. I will contact sky and it seems I will need to return the sky equipment since it was connected to the old account unless sky says I can use it.

@Gigi6 Note that if you intend to sign up in your name at the same registered address as the bill company the bill company account will need cancelling and equipment return before sky's system will allow you to sign up as new customer, you will receive new equipment
