My broadband installation was 33 days late, so where's my compensation?
My activation date was the 13th of October 2025 the "engineer" couldn't complete because there was work to be carried out that he couldn't do due to not having the correct equipment. Ok so "engineer" number 2 was booked, unfortunately a no show. Then comes engineer number 3, now he did the relevant cabling and connection, took him 2 working days to complete, "there's a fault on the line" says he. 1 phone call later, "great we're all up and running" he says, but oh dear unable to connect to the internet. On to sky's online help, we'll what's app you. Ok another engineer, I can't do anything unless you are at the property, I work seven days a week and I've used all my data because I've got no WiFi at home, do you see where this is heading? Now way back when I received my router et al, the seal was already broken, turns out I'd received a "refurbished, good as new" box, but it wasn't as good as new it just didn't bloody work. Back to the "help desk" finally a brand new box arrived and I plugged it in did a little reset and bingo job done-do. Now we can finally get to the point. From my initial installation date to the day I actually got on line was 33 days from the 13th October to the 15th of November. Sky promises if they're late on the PROVISION of broadband they'll pay me £6.24 for every day I'm without service at 33 days thats £205.92 so how do I claim this fortune? is my question to you.

It should be automatically added to your account as a credit (your bill), although it might take a little while since your connection was finally activated.

@BigChefSteve Compensation is applied as a bill credit within 31 days of provision being completed
so are services now running and has it been 31 days since activation if it has check current and future billing
