@Jennyjennyjenny
If you are new to the forum or this is your first post then welcome to the Community, which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t talking to Sky by posting here.
Your post is a little confusing. You haven't mentioned what services your Mum subscribes to at her address, and what services you currently have at yours. You can't have two of the same at the same address so for example if you both have Sky Q one of you has to cancel.

Dose you and you mum have the same sky system i.e sky Q or sky stream. If so and you have brought your sky box with you when you moved and your sky account is still active. All you need to do is replace your mums box with your sky box this just a simple operation of just disconnecting the cables from you mums box noting where it was connected to and connecting to yours and will possibly still work ok.with out the need of sky engineer.
Then your mum needs contact sky , hope fully she just on a monthly rolling contract ans cancel giving 31 day notice. Your mum should make it clear to the sky agent though she is giving the required notice but her sky equipment will not be used after she has finished that call, hopefully paving the way to use you sky equipment after you have given sky you new address. So then you need to speak to sky and tell them that you have moved house and give them your new address. Unfortunately I don't think both can be done technically on one call as sky require that they speak to the account holder in each case. But if you get a good sky agent maybe she or he could deal with both you on the same call.
