I have moved house and left equipment there so I am unable to return the equipment. Who can I speak

We moved house 18 months ago and left behind 2 mini boxes. So cannot return them. How can we avoid being charged. The new owners have sky and are now using them

@Netball100

Then the new owners are breaching Skys T's and C's if they are using them and if Sky haven't zapped them.

You will be charged non return fees for them so it's in your interest to get them back and return them.

They were loaned, by Sky, to you. It's your responsibility to return them.

Have you asked for them back?  (They belong to Sky - not you or them...)

No - seems a bit petty , 18 months later

@Netball100  It's also important to note that even paying the non return charge does not transfer ownership and sky can still use every legal option available to them to pursue you for the return

Ok, then you'll have to pay the non-return fee.  And that doesn't exonerate you either.  You cannot 'buy' them.

@Netball100

It's quite clear that equipment is loaned to you. So if you can't get them back expect a charge of £52 x 2.

@Netball100  Not petty at all , sky and any other company legally has six years to claim any charges

@Netball100

Why did Sky wait 18 months to ask for the miniboxes return? When you moved house did you leave the miniboxes but took your main Q box with you and continued to pay for multiroom? Have you more recently cancelled multiroom or your whole Q contract? That would be the normal trigger for return of minibox hardware.

It seems odd that Sky would wait so long before requesting a return.

@Netball100

As soon as you don't return them (and are charged), Sky will render the mini boxes inoperative so they'll no longer be any use to the new occupants so will probably gladly return them to you.

We moved house and continued to pay for multi room that we no longer needed. Yes cancelled recently.

In that case as per the replies above the Mini's will cease to work for the other people and would be in your interest to retrieve them.
