I have just looked at my Sky account and noticed that my broadband is still getting charged for even though it will be cancelled on the 26th of Feb 2024.

How did you cancel and did you receive an email from Sky acknowledging it?

Thanks for your replies,
Yes I do have a email stating my broadband ends 26 feb 2024
I should have no debt on my account.
Can I ask another question
Is it possible to use the old sky Q hub router as a wifi extender repeater with Amazon Eero Pro 6?

So from your next billing period you will see a credit on your bill from the 27th feb to the bill date. The credit won't appear on your future bill until after the 27the feb.

Same happened to me. Email confirmation of services cancelled from 26th feb, returned equipment and they took £45 direct debit from my bank on feb 26th. Given they normally bill in advance, don't knew why they have done this. And then today I receive email notification that my charges will be increasing for broadband!!!

That bill on the 26th would have been created when you were still a customer so do you now see a credit on your account for this overpayment because if so it can be refunded to you.

Hi Louise,
I eventually found out what happened,
Even though I cancelled on 26 Jan cut on 26 Feb, I was still charged in full this March. But in April I will only be charged £1 for my whole TV package. I did contact Sky, they needed to make sure there was not any debt on my calls or broadband before making final bill and taking it off April's bill. But needing two months to generate a bill does seem extreme.
Look at your future bills on your My Sky, hope this helps

Thanks for getting back to me. I fully cancelled and switched to virgin so was not expecting any further payments to be taken. I'll keep an eye on bank and hopefully should expect a refund. It does seem very extreme!! Get your money any way they can!!!
