HD

My tv is ultra HD but I'm paying £9 a month extra for this. My bill is now almost £60 a month for the basic package! I've rang them today but they can't change it or remove this ultra HD thing. Anyone any ideas?

HD is a prerequisite for UHD, i.e. you can have neither, HD or HD and UHD.

Whilst your TV is UHD, the majority of material being fed to it isn't.  (Your TV will upscale to UHD - generally native UHD will be better but not necessarily by a huge margin)

Whether you value UHD material or not is for you to decide.  (Mainly Sports channels and downloads)

You might not be able to remove the package if you have discounts agreed as part of a minimum term.  If not, then you should be able to remove UHD by giving 31 days notice.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
