Double charged for a canceled contract

I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and had to cancel it. I am in the proccess of sending it back and ive already paid for one month of it. Yesterday 25/04/2025 I got charged again for a phone contract thats meant to be canceled.

Yup, you'll need to continue paying until the item is returned and processed - this can take 2-3 weeks.

Im confused about this tho as ive already paid for this month to the 17th and it doesnt make sense to charge in advance for a further month.

Billing continues as normal until the return is actually processed.  Billing doesn't stop with an intended return as you may not return it...
