Direct debit refund

I switched data service from sky to virgin Media and returned the sky hub. However, sky took a dirrect debit on my account (in  advance for a service they wont provide). How do I reach them to get a refund

Refunds should normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's taking a bit longer.

 

We used to escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately that process is currently unavallable and we don't know when it'll return.

 

You will therefore need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; either by calling, through Sky Assistant or through social media, Providing your payment method is still active they should then be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.

Thank you Daniel. Its quite very recent on 13/10/2025. I may have to wait for the time period your mentioned. I thought its a 3 -5 days refund timing process.

Yes, but once Sky have effected the refund.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
