taking on my late mums contract

my late mum had sky package, broadband and talk contract, i have taken on the contract but removed the sky package for now as my son will be living at the house when home from uni and not decided what to do long term. can i request to keep the sky q box rather than return it for watching free view. she and i both have been sky customers for well over 20 years prior to her passing

hope you can help

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@annems  Your post has been moved friom the email board as that is not an emal route to Sky but intended for Sky/Yahoo email account issues.

Have you contacted Sky regarding the death of the account holder?   As far as we are aware you wouldn't be able to take over the services as such, you would need to close their account and sign up yourself, this would involve returning any equipent to Sky.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
