Diamond to Silver VIP

Hi all

i have been a Sky TV customer for close to 27 years. This week I have moved from Sky Q to Sky stream, as a result of my Sky Q being cancelled by Sky during the upgrade, my VIP tier has been reduced from Diamond status to Silvet status. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so did you manage to get the issue sorted? After numerous calls to Sky I feel like I am chasing my own tail.

Thanks.

@hwatts

We have seen reports of this happening before and in fact it has happened to one of the SuperUsers too.

@hwatts I think I'm the SU @Daniel0210 mentioned, and yes, same thing happened to me after switching from Sky Q to Stream/Glass. I did get my Diamond VIP status reinstated for 12 months or so before it dropped back again to Gold. I haven't bothered to do anything more about it as my VIP status has never really benefitted me. May not be the same for you, so I'd suggest complaining.

@hwatts

Of course where it might be relevant to you is if you are planning a trip abroad to a Roaming Passport Plus country as Diamond VIP members don't have to pay the roaming charges of £2 for every 24 hours.

@Yoghurt do you have Sky broadband? I believe if you do, your VIP status isn't changed.

Re: Diamond to Silver VIP

No I don't have Sky Broadband, there were offers that I had on my account which have now disappeared  such as unlimited calls and data on Sky Mobile for £10 per month, free roaming etc. I suspect that it is simply a matter of the advisor cancelled my Sky Q before activating my Stream account. Madly I am actually still paying for Sky Q so there is a crossover of continuos service from Sky, all a little frustrating.  Thanks for the replies guys, it's appreciated.
