Re: Customer Services
@Notsotall If you post what the issue is the community may be able to save a phone call, however these are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …
🔶📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline.
All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.
🔶online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.
🔶 Sky Assistant should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
🔶Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).
Note If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required.

Re: Customer Services
Thank you. I had a complaint against Sky last month where I wasted two days of my life waiting for someone to collect some of their kit and no one turned up. Sky apologised and gave us a couple of upgrades (Sky Sport and Sky Cinema) for the month and I wanted to chat with someone over the cancellations and alternatives. So not really something to discuss with an AI or through 150 (we'tr not with Sky mobile).
Hence I was hoping for a telephone number to call.

Re: Customer Services
The contact methods have been provided by @GD1
What equipment are you wanting Sky to collect? That is not something Sky normally do.
The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.

Re: Customer Services
Hey Dan,
They were collecting their broadband equipment after we decided to use a different service provider and cancelled the broadband element. They confirmed in writing that they would send someone to collect their equipment from my home twice and they failed on both occasions. Hence their apology.
I've read GD1's contact methods, but I would prefer to speak to someone. It's not a case of cancel this and choose that, I wanted to talk about things.

That is not the way it normally works. Sky send return packaging near the end of any cancellation period (which is 14 days for broadband) for any loaned equipment they are expecting back. Is there a reason Sky offered this collection?

Re: Customer Services
Yes, but they failed to send sufficient packaging for all of their equipment. The packaging covered just the one router and cables nothing else. I was worried they would charge me for failing to return everything so I managed to contact them online to ask what they were going to do about their extender (the router booster) and they suggested sending someone to collect their remaining kit. So that was arranged and they failed to show on the first date, it was rearranged for the following day, and they failed to show again.
Hence my complant.

Re: Customer Services
As I stated I have not heard of that being offered previously so I'm thinking that you possibly spoke with an inexperienced agent who, having suggested that method of returning loaned equipment, then discovered that it wasn't possible.

Re: Customer Services
So how does one contact Sky by phone if they don't have Sky mobile ??
The website gives no clues and even the live chat doesn't work.
My Mother-in-Law wants to cancel a Sky Insurance policy but is unable to speak to anyone at Sky as all the previous numbers she has called in the past no longer get answered.
Sky really are a piece of [removed] when it comes to customer service.

Re: Customer Services
@andyf4 use the online help for the type of insurance concerned - device or home. Contact options are given if the guide don't provide an answer.

As per the advice above, follow the help guides and if they don't help there will be an option which will provide the phone number. If your mother-in-law doens't have internet access surely you can follow the help guides to obtain the number.

Re: Customer Services
My point is, if she doesn't have internet access, how does she contact Sky if she needs them and if I'm not available to search the website for her? They must surely have a phone number that someone actually will answer ??
