@Adam240

As stated above, you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

This link explains what happens.

Hello. I left sky broadband around the 8th of June and am still showing that I'm in credit. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

@MrBean1

You will have to call Sky to ask them to refund this to you.

Re: Credit refund

 Thanks for the reply. Why will I have to call sky? Will I not get an invite from sky messaging team and get the chat bubble like the others have?

For the time being the messaging system is closed so is no longer available for anybody from here on in. If you are happy to wait a few weeks then we can escalate your post when it is up and running again but I'm afraid we can't at present.

@AngieT74

We could usually help you via here by escalating your post to Sky about this but this is not available at present so you will have to contact them yourself so under “Need more help” if it is available should be the number to use:

https://www.sky.com/help

You can also contact Sky via social media:

Re: Credit refund

I've been waiting for a refund for about 6 weeks now and haven't heard a thing from Sky and having a nightmare trying to speak to anyone

You'll have to persevere, I'm afraid.

Re: Credit refund

It seems that Sky likes to take your money when they aren't due any, but they're not so keen to pay back what they owe 😡 I've waited over 2 months for refund! I shouldn't have to be chasing them!

@AngieT74

I agree you shouldn't need to chase this. Unfortunately the refunds normally take 6 weeks anyway. It is what it is, so usually we could escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and we don't know when it'll return.

At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. Saying nothing when asked the reason for your call usually helps in getting put in the queue.

@Michellesh

You need to call as per my post immediately above yours… or wait for it to be automatically reimbursed.

Re: Credit refund

I left broadband over a month ago and my account still shows credit, the normal dd date has passed and have not received my credit, they have taken my other sky payment as normal
