@Leahhart
If your discounted minimum term has ended or its ending soon the best new discounts are still normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract.

It’s apparent that significant discounts are harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new customer so don’t expect anything close to a new customer deal.

If you decide to move providers remember that in 18 months time you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that time.

Re: Contract

I'm out of contract and phoned them up to see what they could do for me as I have been with them for over 10 years and the women I spoke to wasn't very helpful basically said that's the deal I can offer you take it or leave it

Unfortunately, as explained above good discounts are harder to come by these days.

Re: Contract

I was going to try again in a couple of days as they have jackedup the price to £50 for fibre 150 and I can get 900 for less than that as an upgrade option if  I can't get something I am happy with then I'm more than happy to vote with my feet and go with another provider can anyone suggest the best number to get through to them thank you

There isn't a 'best' number. You've already spoken to them once but dialling 150 from your Sky Talk landline phone is free.
