Cancel sky cinema

I had a one month free trial of sky cinema and can't find if I still have it or how to cancel it. The app and website aren't clear

@Clarepu
You need to contact Sky to reduce any part of your Sky TV package giving the required notice of 31 days. Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to a phone number.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link should include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by ringing or writing in.

If you cancel correctly you should receive a confirmation email from Sky.

The chances are is is still working @Clarepu as it will not be cancelled unless you contact Sky and put in your request to cancel it.

Re: Cancel sky cinema

Thank you for help.

Seems like a way of keeping people on subscriptions having to call them. Not easy at all to work out and in this day and age you should be able to do it all in app. Other providers you can.

Re: Cancel sky cinema

I was convinced to sign up to Sky Cinema by the guy who installed it for me....he said cancel it after 30 days which I obviously forgot. I think the only way you can do it is by phoning them as I had to after a few months.

@toby+dye  You can't request this in a public forum, the way to contact has been provided in the replies above your post.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Mike69 Your not talking directly with Sky, this is a customer helps customer forum only with no account access,you can’t cancel/downgrade online I’m afraid

if you wish to cancel/downgrade choose an option on the link below (which includes a message service - not available in ROI) (just click on yes I need more help)

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#M1014

Note that if your within a minimum term (most Sky contracts have a minimum term of 18 months) for the service you wish to cancel you may not be able to

Also note you have to give the required relevant notice to cancel which is 31 days for tv and 14 days for broadband

Additional information on Broadband: If you are changing to Virgin or cancelling broadband totally you'll have to contact Sky This link should help

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband#M1014

If you are changing to another ISP who uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf

If in ROI make sure the flag in bottom right hand corner is set to ROI and refresh the page before selecting an option

for reference cancellations are only confirmed once you have written email confirmation, also remember that if you are cancelling sky q or stream (where stream was ordered on or after 23/02/23) completely all equipment will need returning so make sure when sending back you obtain and keep very safe and indefinitely proof of postage, also note that billing continues as normal right upto and including last day of notice period and must be paid, any overpayment for days beyond termination date will be refunded within six weeks of termination date or you can call sky and they will refund within 3-5 working days once the credit is showing on your sky account

apparently best times to call are first thing in the morning 7am or last thing at night 9pm

@Mike69
To remove part of your TV package you will need to contact Sky and give the appropriate 31 days notice. Be aware if you have 'in contract' discounts you may not be able to remove them.

Select ‘Need more help’ at the bottom of the following link which will lead to contact details.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.

I don't know what you mean by auto tuned.

If Sky Cinema is included in your bill, you subscribed.
