@Ihor3

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this, so if the bubble hasn't appeared by 9pm it will be tomorrow that they will contact you by it:

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

@LC_10

You will be asked to reinstate your direct debit so the refund can be issued via it otherwise a cheque will be sent out and this can take many weeks to be issued so are you Ok with doing this if you are asked to ?

Re: Balance in Credit - How do I get a refund?

Success!

Sky has now refunded the credit on the account.

Many thanks for your help in escalating the issue to Sky for me.

Much easier than trying to figure out how to contact Sky directly!

Have a great day.

Re: Balance in Credit - How do I get a refund?

Hello

I also have a balance credit as a result of cancelling my broadband subscription. Could I get a refund, please?

The payment method should still be active.

Many thanks

@TRS1
We need to wait at least 10 minutes from your original post before we can escalate your issue to Sky so I’ll escalate it at that point and staff from their Community Messaging Team should contact you.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
