Account cancellation

I have asked three times using the online chat for my account to be cancelled and each time it never was (I moved out of my previous premises) Surley this should have been cancelled the first time I asked, I even gave an adress to send the returns packaging to. Could someone from Sky reply to this message to explain why it was not cancelled in the first place as I was out of contract when I asked.

Did you receive an email from Sky acknowledging the cancellation?

(You won't get a response from Sky on here).
