Account Restriction

I need to speak to someone about my bill. I cannot afford to pay it in full, and I would like to set up a payment arrangement. However, my account is restricted, which prevents me from talking to anyone. Please help me.

Sky won't be payment plans on subscription services, they only apply to devices purchased under a credit agreement ( for example Sky Glass or mobile phone devices).

 

Sky's process is fully automated so services will be restricted until they receive payment and all calls to Sky will direct you to pay what you owe. 

If you fall 2 weeks late you will likely be asked for the following months bill to be paid as well before services are restored. Sky will likely also add late payment fees onto the amount owed and if you don't pay within 56 days the T&Cs state sky reserve the right to terminate the contract.

Sky said they was amending my bill on Friday and have not done so so can't pay my bill until they do . Now I can't call anyone to resolve it ? Ridiculous

You might need to give a little while for the bill to update, so perhaps give it a week and if this bill for December is still incorrect then you will need to call them again.

Then you will need to pay the bill in full when you can as Sky will not enter into a payment agreement and when you have done this you will then be able to speak to them. This applies to us all so is nothing against you personally.

Bloody stupid u can't speak to anyone to discuss a bill that is wrong . They promise it would be amended by end of Friday . Cancelling sky when my contract ends . Why should u have to pay more money to then have it amended ? My bill was £59 but I have to pay 81 to have it amended . Crazy

Why do you think it was wrong as it could be that your discount has finished hence the price increase as discounts don't last for ever.

They honoured my discounts on Friday and said they will amend my bill so yes it is too much to pay

Told me to pay the amended bill when it's changed but then they restrict my account. Now forced to pay this . Shocking how they treat customers. No care

If the bill has already been generated they can't change it, therefore if the bill is higher than expected it needs to be paid and then if the bill is incorrect and you have been overcharged Sky would credit the overcharge onto your future bill.
